Sustainability & Ethical Responsibility. Our Commitment to the Planet, People, and Responsible Progress

We believe that building a successful global brand requires more than quality products—it requires integrity, accountability, and transparency at every level of the business. This framework outlines our company’s core policies on sustainability, ethical labor, environmental responsibility, and human rights.

1. Transparency & Sustainability Reporting

We are committed to transparent operations and sustainable development. In line with this, we publish annual sustainability disclosures aligned with recognized global frameworks such as ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility).

Our reports cover:

  • Environmental Responsibility – CO₂ emissions, packaging, energy consumption, and logistics
  • Social Impact – fair labor conditions, community engagement, and inclusivity
  • Governance & Ethics – ethical sourcing, anti-corruption, and compliance

Reports are prepared by internal teams and approved by our head office in Hong Kong. While we are not yet subject to legal sustainability reporting obligations, we voluntarily follow best practices such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) to build trust and long-term integrity.

2. Environmental & Social Impact Strategy

Our approach to sustainability is built on measurable results, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The strategy is developed and overseen by our head office in Hong Kong and is based on five key pillars:

Internal Environmental Reviews

We regularly conduct internal environmental impact assessments (“EIA-lite”), focusing on:

  • Packaging efficiency and recyclability
  • Transport-related emissions and energy use
  • Product lifecycle and material selection

These evaluations help us improve processes and develop more sustainable products.

Carbon Reduction & Offsetting

To reduce our carbon footprint, we:

  • Use recyclable and optimized materials
  • Consolidate shipments for more efficient transport
  • Transition to digital workflows and energy-saving equipment

Unavoidable emissions are offset through our partnership with Xeero.io, a platform that enables us to invest in verified environmental projects like renewable energy and reforestation.

Supplier Collaboration

We view our suppliers as essential partners in our sustainability goals. As part of every cooperation:

  • We hold detailed discussions about material sourcing, waste management, and energy efficiency
  • We assess suppliers’ ESG practices and support improvements
  • We promote responsible production and long-term waste reduction

Stakeholder Engagement

We maintain ongoing dialogue with employees, customers, and local partners to align our actions with broader social expectations. Their feedback is essential in shaping our future strategy.

3. Policy on Child Labor, Forced Labor, and Modern Slavery

We enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy toward all forms of child labor, forced labor, and modern slavery.

Our commitments include:

  • Prohibiting employment below the legal minimum working age
  • Prohibiting any form of bonded, coerced, or deceptive labor
  • Full compliance with International Labour Organization (ILO) standards
  • Immediate action in the event of any violation

Enforcement mechanisms:

  • All suppliers must provide written compliance declarations
  • We conduct risk assessments and staff training
  • Anonymous reporting channels are in place for violations

DG Brands Limited fully cooperates with local law enforcement authorities in all cases involving suspected legal or human rights violations, including human trafficking, forced labor, and abuse of labor rights.

4. Human Rights & Ethical Workplace Policy

We respect and uphold fundamental human rights in line with the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and we strive to create a safe, inclusive, and dignified work environment.

We guarantee:

  • Equal Opportunity – regardless of gender, ethnicity, religion, age, or background
  • Freedom of Association – including the right to unionize
  • Safe and Healthy Work Conditions – both physical and mental
  • Privacy Protection – of all employee and customer data
  • Zero Tolerance for Harassment – including all forms of abuse, discrimination, and intimidation

Sexual Harassment Policy

We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy toward sexual harassment, including:

  • Unwanted comments, physical contact, or messages
  • Sexual jokes, gestures, or insinuations
  • Inappropriate communication or digital behavior

All employees, regardless of position, are subject to this policy. Every complaint is taken seriously and handled with full confidentiality and without retaliation. Violators are subject to disciplinary action, including termination where appropriate.

DG Brands Limited fully cooperates with local law enforcement authorities in all cases of sexual harassment or abuse, ensuring that investigations are carried out thoroughly and legally.

This policy also applies to off-site work activities, business travel, and all third-party engagements.
